Our Favourite Winter Cocktails!
In honour of world cocktail day we have collated a list of our favourite Winter cocktails!
Make sure you head to Liquor Boss in Centre once you have chosen your favourite recipe to try, and grab all your ingredients.
Salted Caramel Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
1 tbs caramel
50ml Espresso
50 ml coffee liqueur (Kahlua)
100ml Vodka
Salt flakes
Method:
Place caramel, espresso and a pinch of salt flakes into a cocktail shaker, stir until caramel is dissolved.
Add coffee liqueur and vodka and top with ice, shake until frothy.
Strain mixture and divide between two martini glasses. Serve with grated chocolate on top.
Cinamon Butter Rum
Ingredients:
25g Butter
2tbsp golden caster sugar
2 small cinnamon sticks
200ml spiced rum
Method:
Heat butter, golden caster sugar, and cinnamon in Saucepan until butter has melted and sugar dissolved
Stir in spiced rum and then pour into four heatproof glasses.
Amaretto Sour
Ingredients:
½ large egg white
45ml bourbon
20ml amaretto liqueur
20ml Fresh lemon juice
Maraschino cherries and lemon strip for garnish
Method:
Combine egg white, bourbon, amaretto and lemon juice in shaker. Fill with ice and shake for roughly 20 seconds or until the outside of the shaker is very cold.
Strain into a glass.
Apple Cider Mimosas
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Granulated sugra
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 cups Apple cider
1 bottle of prosecco or champagne
Method:
Combine sugar and cinnamon together on a plate, dip the rims of champagne flutes into mixture.
Fill champagne flutes ¼ full with apple cider, top off with champagne or prosecco.
