How to make Oreo Spider Cookies for Halloween!

WHY WE LOVE OREO SPIDER COOKIES

• No cooking or baking is required to make these spiderOreos. All you have to do is to let your creativity run free and assemble the pieces together.

INGREDIENTS

Build these Halloween spider cookies using 4 ingredients you can find at your local grocery store! 

• Oreo Cookies -- I use double-stuffed Oreos because it is easier to fit the pretzelspider legs in the filling. Any brand of chocolate sandwich cookie will do. Generic brands have double-stuffed versions too.
• Pretzel sticks -- These are broken into shorter pieces and used as the spider legs. I used 6 sticks per spider, but you can use 8. Try using black licorice instead if you prefer. My family is not a fan, so I use pretzels.
• Eye candies -- You can easily find these edible googly eyes on grocery shelves all year round. However, If you can't find a pack, you can pipe eyes with white frosting and use black frosting for the pupils. You can also use M&Ms or Skittles instead.
• Frosting -- Use this to "glue" the eye candies to the Oreos. You can use a ready-made tube.

PREPARATION:

• Break the pretzel sticks into desired sizes.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Insert 3 to 4 pretzel sticks into the cream on each side of the Oreo cookies. Press the cookie sandwich down while doing this, so they do not separate.
2. Adhere eyeballs onto cookies with a dot of frosting. You can use a toothpick to make the small dots or place the frosting in a piping bag with a tiny hole.
